Create Single Rich Card Message Template

A Single Rich Card combines an image, title, description, and interactive buttons in one card. Available for Promotional and Transactional agents.

Step 1 — Start a New Template

Go to Templates > RCS and click + Create RCS Template. Enter a template name, select your RBM Agent, and choose Single Rich Card as the message type.

Step 2 — Configure the Media

In the Media section:

  1. Choose the media type you want to upload.

  1. Choose the Layout — vertical (image above the text) or horizontal (image beside the text).

  2. For vertical layouts, choose the media Height (e.g., medium). The height option is not available for horizontal layouts.

Step 3 — Add the Title & Description

  • Title: The card headline, up to 200 characters — e.g., "Thank you for your order".

  • Description: Supporting text, up to 2,000 characters.

Both fields support emojis and { } Add variable for per-recipient personalization.

Step 4 — Add Card Actions (Optional, Max. 4)

Card Actions are buttons attached directly to the card — Quick Reply, Website, Call Phone, View Location, or Create Calendar Event.

Click + Add button, pick a type, and fill in its fields. For detailed steps on adding, configuring, and reordering buttons, see How to Add & Organize Buttons & Suggestions.

Step 5 — Add Suggestions (Optional, Max. 11)

Suggestions are chips that appear below the message bubble. Click + Add Suggestion and configure them the same way as Card Actions.

Step 6 — Review and Submit

Each section shows a green checkmark once complete, so you can see at a glance what still needs attention. Verify the live preview — image, copy, and button labels — then submit.

You'll see "Congrats! RCS template submitted for approval." — the template shows a Pending status until reviewed. See Template Statuses.

Best for: Order confirmations with a tracking button, single product/offer highlights, and event invitations. To showcase multiple products, use a Carousel Rich Card.
