Create RCS Template

This section walks you through creating RCS templates in QuickReply.ai. The overall flow is the same for every template — what changes is the content editor, depending on the message type you choose.

Before You Start

  • Your RBM Agent must be approved and active.

  • Know which message types your agent type can send — for example, an OTP agent can only create Basic Text Message templates.

  • Prepare your content: message copy, images (for rich cards), and any links or phone numbers for buttons.

The General Flow

  1. Go to the Templates page — navigate to Templates from the left sidebar, switch to the RCS tab, and click + Create RCS Template.

  2. Set up the basics — give the template a descriptive internal name (e.g., bakery_july_promo), select the RBM Agent it belongs to, and choose the message type.

  3. Build the content — fill in the editor fields for your chosen message type, using the live preview on the right to verify how the message will look.

  4. Submit for approval — once submitted, you'll see the confirmation "Congrats! RCS template submitted for approval." The template appears in your list with a Pending status until it is reviewed. See Template Statuses.

Tips for Faster Approval

  • Keep your content aligned with your RBM Agent's registered use case — promotional copy under a Transactional or OTP agent will be rejected.

  • Double-check character limits before submitting; the counters under each field show your usage in real time.

  • Use clear, action-oriented button labels within the 25-character limit (e.g., "Shop Now", "Track Order").
