Create Carousel Rich Card Message Template

A Carousel Rich Card sends multiple swipeable cards in a single message — each with its own image, title, description, and buttons. Available for Promotional agents only.

Step 1 — Start a New Template

Go to Templates > RCS and click + Create RCS Template. Enter a template name, select your RBM Agent, and choose Carousel Rich Card as the message type.

Step 2 — Add Your Cards

You can add up to 10 cards per carousel. There is no enforced minimum, but a carousel typically contains at least 2 cards — for a single card, use a Single Rich Card instead.

Use the card tabs at the top of the editor (Card 1, Card 2, …) to switch between cards. Each tab shows a green checkmark once that card is complete.

Step 3 — Build Each Card

For every card, fill in the same sections as a Single Rich Card:

1. Media — upload the card image and set the layout (vertical/horizontal; height applies to vertical only).

2. Title — up to 200 characters.

3. Description — up to 2,000 characters. Both support emojis and variables.

1. Card Actions (optional, max. 4 per card) — buttons attached to this specific card. Repeat for each card in the carousel.

Step 4 — Add Suggestions (Optional, Max. 11)

Suggestions are chips that apply to the whole message.

Suggestion chips are applied to the message and are not tied to any specific card — customers see them below the carousel regardless of which card they are viewing.

Step 5 — Review and Submit

Check that every card tab shows a green checkmark, verify the live preview by swiping through the cards, then submit.

You'll see "Congrats! RCS template submitted for approval." — the template shows a Pending status until reviewed. See Template Statuses.

Best for: Product catalogs, multi-offer campaigns, and event or course listings. Keep card content parallel in structure (similar title/description lengths) for a clean swiping experience.
