Global Attribution
Global Attribution lets non-Shopify users track revenue, ROI, and conversions generated from their Broadcasts, Journeys, and Campaigns.
Connect your external data source through a webhook, define the conversion events you want to track, and configure how QuickReply should attribute the value of those events.
What is Global Attribution?
Global Attribution connects conversion events from your external data source with your QuickReply broadcasts and Journeys.
It can be used with data sources such as:
E-commerce
Bookings
Leads & CRM
Once an event is configured for attribution, QuickReply uses the event data and attribution settings to calculate the corresponding revenue and conversion metrics.
Note: Before you start, Make sure the required conversion event is available under Data Source → Events.
How It Works
Step 1: Identify the attribution metrics When you open your dashboard, some metric cards — Revenue, ROI, and Conversions — will appear grayed out until you complete the attribution setup.

Step 2: Choose an event to track Go to Data Source → Events and find the event that best represents a completed conversion in your business, such as a booking or lead submission.
Click the ⋮ icon next to the event and select Set as Attribution Event.

Step 3: Configure your attribution settings
Aggregation Type — Select how the value should be calculated for the event.
Add fixed value on goal event occurrence — Attributes the same fixed value every time the event occurs.
Sum of event field value — Uses the value received in a field within the event.
Event Field — Select the event field that contains the value to be attributed. This option is available only when Sum of event field value is selected.
Attribution Metric Label — Enter a label to identify the type of conversion being attributed, such as Meeting Booking.
Currency — Select the currency in which the attributed value should be calculated.
Revenue Attribution Window — Enter the number of days during which an eligible conversion can be attributed to the relevant messaging activity.
Once configured, click Save Settings.

Understanding the Aggregation Types
1. Add fixed value on goal event occurrence Use this when every occurrence of an event should contribute the same predefined value to your attributed revenue.
Example: Suppose you run a campaign for a salon and track a booking_confirmed event. If you decide that every confirmed booking is worth ₹1,000, enter ₹1,000 as the fixed value. Every eligible booking attributed to your campaign will contribute ₹1,000, regardless of the actual booking amount.
Example: 5 attributed bookings × ₹1,000 = ₹5,000 attributed revenue
This is useful when you have a standard value for each conversion, such as a lead, appointment, consultation, or booking.
2. Sum of event field value Use this when the value of each conversion varies and the actual amount is available in an event field.
Example: Suppose your e-commerce system sends a purchase event with a price field. One customer purchases for ₹1,500, while another purchases for ₹3,000. Select price as the Event Field, and QuickReply will use those values when calculating attributed revenue.
Example: ₹1,500 + ₹3,000 = ₹4,500 attributed revenue
This is useful when the conversion value is different for every event, such as purchases, orders, or transactions.
Step 4: Track attributed performance Once saved, all previously locked metrics will become active across your dashboard. Switch between the Revenue & Conversion and Reach & Engagement views from a single page.

Disable Attribution Tracking
If you no longer want an event to contribute to attribution:
Go to Data Source → Events.
Click the ⋮ icon next to the attributed event.
Select Attribution Event Settings.
Click Disable Attribution Tracking.
This disables attribution tracking for the selected event.
